Role and responsibilities.

More specifically in his role, the accounting technician will take charge of all the tasks of the accounting component of the company.

  • Make virtual check deposits.

  • Secure credit card payments.

  • Prepare and send quotes.

  • Enter and send customer invoices.

  • Obtain payable and reimbursable fees.

  • Prepare and process payroll.

  • Perform bank reconciliation. 

  • Enter supplier invoices and credit card expenses.

  • Prepare payment to suppliers on the banking site.

  • Track accounts payable and receivable.

You have excellent analytical skills that set you apart from your peers and your attention to detail sets you apart as a professional. You show autonomy, rigor and want to put forward your sense of organization.

SKILLS.

  • DEC or AEC in accounting.

  • Excellent knowledge of the office suite, Quickbooks, Employer D and the Monday platform.

  • Experience as an accounting technician preferably in a professional services environment (may include internships).

  • Be meticulous and love details.

  • Have a good sense of organization and good management of priorities. 

  • Demonstrate a developed sense of analysis.

Terms.

  • Part time (10 hrs/week).

  • Flexible hours.

  • Hourly rate of $18/hr.

  • Hybrid work - telecommuting and on-site (office in the Charlesbourg area).

  • Cellular allowance and computer.

  • Free parking. 

  • Must be available during the day for meetings with the President and clients.

  • Must have a recent laptop and cell phone.
